During the summer 1990, Mel Zaid and 9 other USA artists--plus 10 artists each from Japan, Germany and other European areas--were given blank books with "GOD" on the front and in Japanese on the back.
Each artist created their own "GOD book" which was jointly exhibited in Tokyo, throughout Japan, other countries, and finally ending in California

The Age of Gods
In the old
times, on the earth, there was the Age of Gods,
The Gods' Love filled the earth with peace,
--- There are such legends, which are left
all around the world.
The legends also say
that after Gods had scattered far away,
the
Age of Darkness had come around.
And
according to the legends, when Gods went apart,
they promised each other,
"At the
beginning of the New Cycle,
meet us at the
center of the Universe",
"Next time, meet us
at the center of the universe!"
Today, all
the stars in the sky, and all the people on the
earth,
start talking about the beginning of
the New Cycle.
How can we live in harmony?
What is peace?
How can we keep peace
forever?
Here comes the time when Gods meet
again.
"Meet us at the Center of the
Universe"
Wish you have a sacred journey.
